In order to determine the Dimensional Weight of your package we use the formula below:
Dimensional Weight = Length (in inches) x Width (in inches) x Height (in inches) / 366.
Example:
A package that measures 32 x 20 x 20 and has an Actual Weight of 30 pounds.
Dimensional Weight = 32 x 20 x 20 = 12,800 / 366 = 35 lbs (always round up to nearest pound)
Since the Dimensional Weight (35 Lbs) is greater than the Actual Weight (30 Lbs), the Dimensional Weight will be used as the shipping weight.
